HeliStorm 2025 is an aviation event that will feature scale radio control pilots flying on the front grounds of the National Museum of the United States Air Force. We expect full scale aviation organizations along with STEM students from the Columbus, Dayton and Cincinnati areas.

  • We expect more than 100 pilots from around the world
  • Pilots who cannot bring aircraft can still register and participate in the planned activities
  • The world’s finest scale helicopter models
  • Workshops & industry panels
  • Dedicated 30' x 90' air conditioned pilot lounge
  • Flying skills competitions
  • Banquet and private tour in the museum (you can have a guest here)
  • Scholarships for top 3 Dayton-area STEM schools based on their attendance
  • Top industry suppliers
  • Registration is $165 for pilots (includes a whole bunch of stuff -- see the pricing tab) and $130 for non-flying pilots.
  • All proceeds go to the HeliStorm 501(c)(3) dedicated to the advancement of youth in aviation.
