ARRMA/HORIZON HOBBY IS LIABLE FOR ANY AND ALL ACTIONS THAT HAPPEN ON THE PREMISES. PERMITS AND INSURANCE, EMT, FOOD SERVICES, VOLUNTEER SUPPORT, ETC., FOR THE EVENT COME WITH A HIGH COST. THE ENTRANCE FEE HELPS COVER THE COSTS FOR THE EVENT.

Attention, all ARRMA RC vehicle owners: ARRMAGEDDON, a brand new signature event from Horizon Hobby, makes its debut in late May at the world-famous Freedom Factory race track in Bradenton, Florida. ARRMAGEDDON has been created to give ARRMA fans their own fun-filled weekend of bashing at its best. Long jump, high jump, speed run, freestyle, sumo, and many other mini events will be available to challenge your speed, strength, and skill. 

The Freedom Factory is the perfect playground to put your ARRMA basher to the test. Known as Desoto Speedway in the early 1970s, it was where many NASCAR and circle track icons came to compete in the Sunshine State. After several decades the track closed, but a few years later it was purchased, renovated, and renamed by Cleetus McFarland. It reopened to the public as the Freedom Factory in 2021 and has once again become a top destination for motorsports fans.

What do you need to participate? 

Simple. All you need is a single Arrma vehicle and the desire to have some fun! We will do a simple inspection of every vehicle brought into the Freedom Factory to make sure it is an Arrma vehicle. We encourage everyone to hop-up and modify their vehicle to get the look and performance they desired we just ask that all option/hop-up parts be OEM/designed specifically for Arrma vehicles. That's it! 

Events 

Ready to put your ARRMA to the test at the iconic Freedom Factory? ARRMAGEDDON 2024 has tons of events to showcase how ARRMA TOUGH you really are. From Speed Runs to High Jump and Burnouts, we’re ready to push the limits of what ARRMA Bashers can do. 

• Speed Runs – Think you’re fast? Prove it on the Bradenton Motorsport Park Drag Strip. Time to set some ARRMAGEDDON records!!! 
• Free Style – Show us your unique style as you throw down a killer, timed run to see just how crazy you can get 
• Freedom Factory Fast Lap – A lap around the Freedom Factory sounds simple enough but how fast can you do it with your Arrma? 
• Arrma 2-Man Challenge – Make sure you pick the proper teammate for this one… you will need to depend on each other to make it through to the end!  
• Burn Out Competition – Smoke em because you’ve got em!  
• Speed Runs – Just RIPP! 
• Last Man Standing – Last one upright and still moving wins! 
• PLUS: Open Basher Pit, Tug-O-War, DRAG Race and more 

Some of these events might have some surprises in store for participants so prepare to have some FUN!!! 

Schedule 

Registration and check-in begin on Thursday, May 23, with a welcome party, tech talk, and movie planned for the evening. Registration continues on the morning of Friday, May 24, and ARRMAGEDDON then officially begins with drag strip speed runs, competition qualifying, and night freestyle. Competition finals take place on Saturday, May 25, followed by an awards ceremony and raffle in the evening. A basher pit will be open and available for most of the day on Friday and Saturday. ARRMAGEDDON “survivors” pack up and head for home on Sunday morning, May 26.
